Pink Off Shoulder & Burgundy Thigh High Boot

Pink Off Shoulder & Burgundy Thigh High Boot

Hi loves!
I hope it has been a good week so far on your end. My week has been productive so that's a plus. But, you know, I live for weekends, so already looking forward to that.
This past weekend was great. Got to hang out with my sisters, well with the exception of one and meet my nephew who turned one for the first time.
If you have a big family, then you know how this gatherings goes. Full house, lots of food, laughter and good times. The kids had fun playing with their cousins. I love that Eliana is now at a stage where she knows who is who and learning she has lots of cousins and aunties and knows them by name and is always excited to see them. Of course, it all went by too fast, but no worries as we'll be seeing some again for thanksgiving.

Pink plus burgundy can definitely be a thing; they go well together. A quick late afternoon weekend meeting and this is what I opted for. This looked would have also worked for a casual date night or even a day outing with the kids. The block heels on the boots keeps it causal, comfortable and mommy friendly. Paired with a good pair of jeans and in this case not so basic top like one makes you ready to transition into whatever the day calls for.

Emmanuel :: Nine Months Letter

My sweet baby boy.

Well, it actually turns out there isn't much to say about month 9. It was easy breezy smooth sailing.

You grew more, you ate more, you talked more, you walked more, you danced more, you laughed more.
You just did all the things that makes a mother 's heart full of joy.

You ventured out to a few outings which you enjoyed. You attended the Carousel summer festival  in town with your sister and mommy and you also made it out to celebrate mommy and daddy's anniversary.

At 9 months you also started exploring more food beyond your puree. You tried Amala (cassava flour) and Ewedu (Jutes leaves) and you loved it.

You continue to developed your little personality which is always fun to watch.
Anything you do that results in a laugh or smile from anyone around you, you continue to do it.

My bright eyed baby boy, my prayer for you is that you continue to grow in strength, in wisdom and in understanding. I pray that you remain under the shadow of he Almighty and that your love and light will radiate farther than we can imagine.
Love you loads boo-boo.

Ruffle Front Stripe Dress

  Hi Loves!
Hope your week is going well.

Today's outfit features this  long sleeve ruffle front dress I recently wore for Eliana's birthday party. If you know me well, then you know I love stripes. The long sleeves on the dress makes it easy to transition into fall just by adding a pair of tight to the look.
I paired it with bag and shoes in my favorite color for fall and was ready to party.

In other news, I have recently been receiving comments, questions and feedback about sharing more post on kids related things and sharing their outfits and where I shop for them on Instagram. I do get this from time to time but the last couples of weeks, it has come up more times than I can ignore.
So, for you ladies and guys reading the blog, is this something you'll like to see on the blog as well? Please leave a comment or email. I'd love to hear your feedbacks. Thanks in advance!

Wide Leg Shirting Pants and Ruffle Detailed Shirt

Hi Loves!

This week is going by fast and I find myself trying to play catch up. Having a sick child on hand doesn't help matters. I'm sure I am not the only one that feels like there isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done. With that said, that just means prioritization comes into play and maybe in some case, you throw both hands and feet up in air and nothing gets done because at the end of the you need a recharge every now and then in order to keep going.

Now, let's talk about more fun stuff like the pant. I am in love with this pants! It is almost like a wrap pant, if such thing exist. But, they call it the Shirting Pants. I can see it.
It has easily become a new favorite and I have no problem putting it on heavy rotation.
These pictures doesn't do justice to the pants, so you'll have to click the link here to see the full details. It is diffidently a unique piece in my closet. The cotton fabric makes it perfect for warmer weather but the layers makes is appropriate for fall paired with some knee high boot. One more thing I love about it, is the wide-leg cut. Can't go wrong with that.
For this look I paired it with a simple white top with gathered ruffle details and burgundy accessories. Talking about burgundy, it is one of my absolute favorite colors for falls. I am yet to see a coat, sweater or boot in that color that I don't love. So don't be surprised if you see burgundy on repeat on here.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Peplum Hem Lace Skirt and White T-Shirt

Hi Loves!
Happy Monday and hope you enjoyed your weekend
Mine was good. Spent a good portion of it celebrating and wishing little msis Eliana Happy Birthday over and over again.

For this outfit, I let the skirt be the shinning start. The funny thing is that I contemplated a lot before deciding on this skirt and let me just say, I am happy I did.

This skirt is truly and more beautiful in person. Also, the color is a vibrant and rich shade of blue.  The lace is good quality and the peplum hem is just fitting for this skirt.

For this outfit, I paired it with a plain t-shirt with some patch detail. Kept the shoes and bag a neutral shade as well as not to take away from the skirt. I am already looking forward to styling this skirt again.

Have a blessed day.
