Outfit Post: Movie Night

Happy Sunday to everyone! Hope you all had a blissful weekend. Hubby and I didn't do much. Well, apart from the fantastic dinner and movie on Friday night. We saw The Avengers and it was great. I would have used the word awesome, but I like to reserve that word to only describe my God. The movie was well thought out, the actors were great and it was worth all the hype they gave it. I think the movie reviewer that came on CNN described it best. When the anchor asked her what grade she would give the movie, she said "I might as well give them the pin number to my bank account so they can go empty out my account, because that sums up how many times I'm going to see the movie. It was that good." I honestly feel the same way and I already know I'm going to watch the movie more than once. The last time I felt like that about a movie was with Avatar. I saw that about six times, I know, that's a bit excessive and now that it's out on DVD, well, you can finish that thought. The movie even made me want to go back and watch Captain America. I guess I felt more connected to the characters (Iron Man, Thor and Loki and Hulk) whose background and story I knew well. You should have seen me trying to connect the dots between all the movies and recollecting information; piecing all the little details together as to when/how each character was featured/referenced and related to each other. Ha! enough about the movie, you would think they are paying me to write this review....lol.

Can anyone guess what tomorrow is? Well, it's first day of work for me. In as much as I don't like first days and being the new kid, I'm very excited and ready to go. Oh, and did I mention I/we are slowly turning into Iya and Baba Ijo...lol (best translation: madam of the church). I have slowly gone from being the one that arrives right when or few minutes after service starts and leaving right after it ends, to being one of the ones that arrive hours before it starts and leaving many more hours after it ends. It's great being part of a church body and being active.
