 Happy Monday guys!
Hope you had a great and joyous Christmas. I certainly enjoyed mine and I'm soaking in this long break that's coming to an end this week. Talking about that, this is the last week of 2014 and three more days to the New Year. What are your plans? I'll be in church on new year's eve and ringing in the New Year there. Wherever you find yourself on the 31st, be safe.

Brown & Burgundy

Hi Loves! Happy Monday!
Two more days till Christmas. More than anything else, I'm happy to be spending this Christmas with my little family this year.

Today's outfit features an old new pieces in my closet. I've had this skirt for months now and just getting around to wearing it. The rich brown color is perfect for fall, so I styled a fall appropriate outfit around the skirt. This sweater is one of my favorite sweater purchased from Target last year. Added a white button up shirt for a clean look. While I considered tucking in the shirt, I like the relaxed look leaving it tucked out gives. Added my burgundy heels to compliment the color tones and an emerald green necklace for contrast.

Casual in Plaid

Hi Loves!

Happy Wednesday. Hope you're having a great week so far.

This bag was on my birthday wishlist here and it happily made its way home to me thanks to hubby. I've carried it everywhere ever since I received it. It even turned into our diaper bag for a period of time. It can easily fit all my belongings and essentials for Eliana for a brief outing, all while looking stylish. I couldn't ask for more in a bag.

 

Today's post features a causal look which you don't see much on the blog. For an easy afternoon outing with the family, I went for a pair of light wash jeans, white shirt and a plaid blazer. Added this knee high boots to amp up the look. Completed the outfit with a red scarf and my trusted Kate Spade bag.

Black & Blue

Hi Loves! Happy Monday!
I'm excited about this week. It's my last week of work this year. I hope it goes by really fast.

Upon getting the coat and seeing the rich blue color in person, I knew I had to do an all black look with it. I can't promise this will be the only time you'll be seeing this coat with an all black ensemble.

Hot Pink & Cobalt Blue

Hello beautiful people!
Remember that one time when it was my birthday almost a month ago now, well this is what I wore that night. I wanted something fun, relaxing (non-fitted dress) and girly. Well, you can't get more girly than hot pink. Complete with blue coat and shoes, hubby and I headed out to paint the city pink.
Loving this peplum hem style of dress so I'm eyeing this one here. In love with the color.

Fall Pastel :: Blue & Pink

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! 
One thing I had on agenda for the weekend was relaxation to recuperate from last week and I think I got a good amount of that. So, I'm ready to start this week on a new note.

On to the outfit. While I enjoy wearing fall colors such as burgundy, burnt orange, mustard yellow, royal / cobalt blue, etc. during the fall season, it's nice to break away from it every now and then to get a refreshing feel.
 I think I've said it before, my last minutes outfits usually turns out to be my favorites. I had originally planned a different top with this skirt in head, but as usual, I didn't actually try it on. I have a pretty good success rate of planning outfits in my head and having it turn out right during execution, but that wasn't the case on this day. Sunday morning rolled in and I brought to live the idea in my head for the skirt only to realize it looks oh-so-wrong. With time running low, I quickly formulated a new look, reached out for this top and it was the perfect match. Accessorizing was easy as it was kept to a minimum. Added my black pointed toe classic pump to complete the look. As the year is drawing to a close, I'll be highlighting my favorite looks from 2014 and I'm sure this will make the list.
