Plaid Fall Shirt Dress

  Hi Loves!
I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving with friends and family. And, of course lots of yummy food, for my U.S based readers.
I really enjoyed this 4 day weekend, and it is making me wish for more long weekends like this. I got to spend true quality time with my family, love on them and sleep in. Well, as much as I could because my whole household are early risers. I used to think my husband was an early morning person, and he still is compared to me. But, my kids are on another level, most times they even get up before their dad, like how?!
Once, they are up, that is pretty much it for peaceful sleeping for me. While they keep each other company for a while, they eventually make their way to our room asking for breakfast  at some point which hubby gets up to tend to. However, in between the screams, giggles, loud talking, kisses and asking where the barbie doll is, that pretty much does it for me and I reluctantly get out of bed, sometimes.
Nevertheless, I got enough sleep this weekend that I have no need to complain, but only be thankful I get to wake up the way I do.
Our Thanksgiving dinner turned out great and so did my turkey I made for the first time. We had friends over and after stuffing our faces and bellies, we ended the night with a movie. It was small, sweet and Intimate just the way I like my gatherings.
You've  probably seen this dress on my Instagram page. I shoot this look months ago, had plans to post before now but here we are.
Although one might think this dress is a wear-one-way dress, that is far from the truth, it can be versatile. I have worn it with the wait belt as seen here and without. Paired with a summer wedge and sandal heels as seen here.

Styling Options

More ways that I hope to style this dress:
As a top, with a full midi skirt on top of it. Depending on the length of the skirt, showing a little of the dress just below or fully covered will work.

It can also be worn with a vest layered top, for the cool fall breezes.

And lastly, with the belted look, the possibilities are endless, switch up the belt and you have a whole new look. Go big and small on belt width and either will still look just right.

I wish you a blessed week ahead.
Talk to you soon.

Floral Body Suit

 Hi Loves!
Excited for the short work week as it is Thanksgiving week here in the U.S.

Truly lots to be thankful for this year, but most of all,
thankful to have witnessed the beginning of this year and now watching it come to a close in good health, sound mind and a heart full of joy.

Thankful to have my little family right by my side every step of the way.

Thankful that I am not the same person I was when this year started.

Thankful that in this month, I celebrated a  major birthday milestone.

Thankful for the basic needs and necessities I have at my fingers tips that I sometimes take for granted.

And finally, thankful for His Grace. For without Him, I am nothing.

We'll be hosting thanksgiving this year and I will be making my very first turkey so wish me luck.

Styling Options

The body suit will look great paired with a high waisted wide leg pants.
And for the skirt, the possibilities are endless.
Pair with a blouse, shirt, t-shirt or sweater. Depending on your mood, all top can be worn out for a casual feel or tucked in for a more polished look.
See how I styled the skirt here and here while pregnant.

Dotted Mix

 Hello  loves.
Happy Monday!
No long post today. Getting ready and excited for this weekend which is when my 30th birthday activities commence even though it is actually not till next Thursday. Getting a head start on the celebration just sounds like a good idea, right!

Styling Options:

Since this top is sort of a crop top, it will look great paired with a high waisted wide leg pants untucked.

For the skirt, playing off the black and white and  polka I can see a more classic look pairing it a white bottom down shirt and pearl necklace.

Hope you have a great week ahead!

Grey & Gold Tones

 Hello loves!
Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. While I feel like I spent most of mine cooking, I was able to sneak away with hubby for a few hours to the movies. We went to a dine-in movie theater. That was first for me. The experience was great. The seats were super comfy and the food was actually really good. We would have enjoyed it more if we had arrived early to settle in before the movie started but we arrived just as the movie was starting and the lights were out. One thing I would say is that it was really dark in there. I am guessing the light from the movie screen was supposed to help but it really doesn't when all the scenes are dark as well. So, trying to read the menu and place an order in the dark was not ideal.
Nevertheless, we had a great time and will probably do a dine-in movie again, only arriving before the movie starts next time. Oh, we saw Venom. It was good. Not what I expected but still good.

Today's post features this lovely grey midi skirt with gold buttons. I love the A-line classic look of the skirt, the midi length and the gold buttons just adds the perfect finishing touch. Paired it with a light blue ruffle stripe blouse and grey heels.

Styling Options:

With the focus on the skirt, I can see pairing the skirt with a sweater as the weather gets cooler, and a pair of heels.

Or, to hype up the look even more and stay warmer, pair with some knee high boots and add a midi length coat to it.

Lastly, I can envision this skirt looking great with a layered look on top; a button down shirt layered with a knit sweater on top and tucked in.

I hope you've enjoyed today's post.
Talk to you soon.

Red Floral Cami Jumpsuit

Hello loves!
Happy new month! Can't believe we are in the last quarter of the year. I know it is an old saying by now, but this year really did go by fast.
I am excited for this last quarter as we have lots to celebrate starting with Eliana's birthday, then mine, then thanksgiving, then Emmanuel's birthday, then Christmas.  I mean, it is a jam-packed season of celebration and thanksgiving.

Speaking of birthdays, this year is major for both Eliana and I. She turns the big 5 and I turn the big 30! I can't believe I am finally turning 30 and at the same time, mother to a 5 years old little girl.
I said finally, because it feels like it'sbeen a long time coming. I even have my 30 by 30 list but refuse to share it (don't want to be held accountable by everyone *cover face*). I am actually not doing too bad as I have accomplished a few things on the list and some have plans in progress. So, while I may not achieve everything by 30, I am making progress.

I will share six things on my list.
Three I have accomplished and three are yet to be accomplished.  One item of these is not actually on my list.  Take your pick and guess which falls where.

Learn how to sew
Start my own business
Take a ballroom dance class
Start my graduate program
Learn how to swim
Have 3 kids
Go hiking

On another note, I am loving jumpsuits / rompers lately. You can easily tell why this is a good pick for me. It's a good girl in the front and back, and a naughty girl situation on the side. The red floral makes it perfect for all seasons. Played off the red and paired it with red strappy sandals and earrings and to break up the red, added  leopard print clutch.

Keeping with my new feature below are two other ways I would style this jumpsuit

Styling Options:

For fall, pair with a t-shirt or button down shirt layered underneath and a pair of booties or pumps. You have to show the slit and legs on the side as that is the main unique factor so, bare legs all the way.

For another warmer weather option, I would style it more causally with a pair of flats and add a tote bag.

I hope you've enjoy today's post.
Thanks for stopping by.
Talk to you soon!

Dotted Tuxedo Romper

 Hi loves!
Hope you haven't missed me too much.
A little life update; we just got done with another major move and finally feeling like we're settled in.
No worries we're still in Florida. Just getting comfortable and making a home here.

Moving went smoothly for the most part, so thankful for that. It helped that half of the stuff were still in boxes and the other half of the items needed were ordered ahead of move day.

Now to this wonderful polka dot tuxedo romper. While  I did a double take before actually pulling the trigger on this romper, it definitely caught my attention at first sight.

Although it make not look like it on the blog, I do wear my clothes more than once. You can check out my "Outfit" highlight on my Instagram page for evidence. I post my daily work style there and you get to see me re-style and re-wear some pieces.
All that to say, while I make not get to share a re-styled piece on the blog, I will however, make it an habit to share other ways to style the piece I'm wearing in a blog post.

For this romper, given it is Fall already, I can envision it paired with a black tight and some booties. I would say pair with some knee high or thigh hig boots but I fear it might be too much. Another option will be to switch the strappy sandals as seen here with a classic pump. Any color goes here for me, I mean the romper is orange with white polka dots. Can't do no wrong with the shoe color.

Thankfully this romper is still available (given most of my pieces are sold out by the time I get to posting), linked below. Grab yours and share your favorite way to style it.
Talk to you soon and enjoy!

Printed Midi Dress with Fringe

Hello beautiful people!
Hope you've had a great week so far.
Busy weekend ahead for me and first ever sleep over for the kids so they (mostly Eliana) are super excited about it.

Is it a coincidence that all of a sudden I know own two clothing items with fringe or is the universe trying to tell me something?  Either way, I am loving it!

This dress Is  what I want to say is the perfect embodiment of my "free spirited- bohemian" side.
Call it a maxi or mid, the print, the little asymmetrical action at bottom, the button down, and then the fringe!

This dress can transition easily from summer to fall by just pairing it with a midi sweater or duster jacket for a relaxed vibe. Belt it to essentuate the waist line for a clean look. A pair of booties will go well with it as well.
Another way to style it will be to layer underneath. A t-shirt, a turtleneck, anything goes.
I mean, the possibilities are endless with this dress. Better still if you are still in summer mood, wear it as a cover up to the beach.

Enjoy and stay blessed!
