Green on Green

Hi Loves!
I hope you enjoyed you weekend. I certainly enjoyed mine.
We hosted our first guests since moving to Florida. My sister and her friend came over and it was a weekend well spent eating, soaking up the sun on the beach, did I mention eating and some much needed nap after all that good food.

Hubby and I did manage to squeeze in a quick date night which was much needed as they offered to watch the kids.
The kids enjoyed having their aunties around and getting some extra attention.
I survived first week at my new job and currently into my second week.
I think I'm going to like it here with lots of opportunities to learn, grow and advance my career.

But, for now, the best possible news that this new job has given me is that I can wear whatever I want; skirts, dresses, open toe shoes...you name it! With the strict pants and closed toe shoes only (sometime steel-toed) requirement of my prior job this was music to my ears.

I can now fully embrace my whole closet again and literally dust off my skirt and dresses.
That's not to say I won't be wearing pants but the fact that it is an option not a requirement makes it more enjoyably.

I have to say I am well stocked on work pants but don't think I can say the same for skirt. I find half of my skirts "too dressy" or outdated (too tight) for work.

So, I may need to revisit the proportion of pants to dress to skirts in my closet.
This should be fun!
