11 random things about myself

1. My randomly assigned roommate freshman year in college turned to be my roommate for many more years, one of my best friends and was my maid of honor. And I met/worked for her dad the summer before we started school that year, had no idea I would be meeting his daughter, let alone be her roommate.

2. I am a picky eater, if I don't know what it is, what's in it or it looks weird, then I don't eat it.

3. I'm very critical of myself.

4. I have four sisters.

5. I'm very picky and difficult when it comes to making friends.

6. I am a paranoid driver. I imagine all the worst case scenario when I'm on the highway, behind a truck or large vehicle,  behind or close to a vehicle pulling another motor vehicle (was in an accident last year where the car been tolled came unlatched from the truck pulling it and some how came directly at us on the highway. Lost my car to the accident, but not my life. Thank God).

7. I could sleep all day.

8. I  don't do well with animals. Not even a dog or a bug for that mater. Bottom line, if it's a living thing and it's not human or a plant, don't bring it close to me.

9. I'm not a go with the flow person, I need details. I remember when my friends and I would plan trips in college, I'm usually the only one asking questions like what time are we leaving? who's driving? where are we staying? what are we doing when we get there, like hour by hour schedule? and their reply, we'll figure it out when we get there. That puts me on edge.

10. I'm an indoor person. I don't have a problem staying inside the house all day.

11. I'm inconsistent and lazy with working out. It's usually 2 weeks on 4 months off.

Answers to Relentless Builder questions

1. Would you describe yourself as fashion-conscious?

yes, to some extent.

2. Name one song you can never forget and why

For you by Kenny Lattimore. The first time I heard the song, I knew it was the one. It was perfect for us. So when the time came around to pick our first dance song, there were no other options. Mr. D. and I danced to it at our wedding.

3. What physical feature would you like to change?

I can happily and resoundingly say none. I was made in God's image and I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous is His work (psalm 149: 14) . He took the time to say He will never forget me and has engraved me in the palms of His hand (Isa 49:16), then I don't need to change a thing, I'm content and happy with what I have.

4. Three words that other people use to describe you

Quiet, Gentle and Nice

5. Three words that you use to describe yourself

Loyal, Easy going, Neat freak

6. Pen (Biro) or pencil? Which do you prefer, and why?

Pen, because my mind and hands are not always on the same page. I often find myself thinking and knowing what to write but my hands just end up writing something completely different. Using a pen gives me a reason to slow down and actually acknowledge what I'm writing because it's not easy erasing ink on a paper. Yea, it is an on going process...

7. Do you have a favorite fragrance (perfume, body spray, etc).  If yes, what is it called?

Diamonds by Giorgio Armani

8. What are your pet peeves (Name three at most)

Smack mouth eating - when people eat with their mouth open or makes noise with their mouth while eating.

9. Do you like children? Why or why not?

Yes, apart from the fact that they are so cute and innocent, seeing the world through the eyes of a child is amazing.

10. What's the name of the last book you read?

An Old Fashion girl by Louisa May Alcott

11. What's the name of your favorite author

I usually don't have a favorite anything, but if I was to pick one, it would be Danielle Steel.

11 questions for the bloggers I tag

1. What's the last song that you listened to?
2. What's your biggest fear?
3. What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?
4. What's your dream vacation?
5. What are you most proud of that you've accomplished?
6. What is the most memorable thing you've seen or witnessed?
7. Do you have a bucket list, if yes, names at least 2 things on there.

So I don't have a lot of bloggers to tag. In essence, I will be tagging way less than 11 bloggers

  2. Christiana: Yay! You finally did the "Tag" thing. I found myself nodding at several of your answers, because .... well, I do the same things too! LOL!

#1: Your room-mate -->> Small world o. I believe God arranged it that way.

#6: I don't blame you for being paranoid. Driving defensively is not always enough. I am glad you were fine after the accident. Thank God for protection.

#9: So that means you like to plan ahead and are really organized, right?

You can definitely learn a lot from children, especially patience. Danielle Steel -->> I remember so many classmates reading her books back in secondary school.

I enjoyed reading this o. Thanks for participating :D

Danielle Steel, she was the last one I remember saying to myself I love this author and read many of her books back to back as a result...secondary school sounds like such a long time ago now, how time flies.
